Hello everybody, and welcome to another review!
This time, I do not have an onahole, onahip, or another toy to take a closer look at. Instead, I have something that plays an important role in almost every session: lubricant.
I bought the TYO Lube with my most recent order because I wanted to try something different. For quite some time now, I have mainly been using OnaEki 370, which quickly became my favourite lubricant. However, I had also read plenty of positive comments about the TYO Lube, so naturally, I wanted to give it a try.
Throughout this review, I will take a closer look at its texture, efficiency, quality, cleanup, and overall value. I will also compare it directly with OnaEki 370 to help you decide which of the two might suit your preferences better.

A Short Look at the Ingredients
The ingredient list is pleasantly short and straightforward:
Water forms the base of the lubricant.
Sodium Polyacrylate is primarily responsible for thickening the formula, retaining water, and creating its smooth, gel-like consistency.
Sodium Dehydroacetate is a preservative that helps prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeast inside the bottle.
Disodium EDTA is a stabilising or chelating ingredient. It binds unwanted metal ions in the formula, helping the product remain stable and supporting the effectiveness of its preservative system.
These are established ingredients commonly used in cosmetic and personal-care formulations. Sodium Dehydroacetate has been assessed as safe under its established conditions of cosmetic use, while Sodium Polyacrylate and Disodium EDTA are widely used for texture and formulation stability.
That does not mean irritation is impossible, as individual sensitivities can always occur. Stop using the lubricant if you notice burning, itching, redness, or other discomfort. Those with especially sensitive skin may also want to test a small amount externally before more extensive use.
🧴 Bottle Design & Dispensing
The TYO Lube comes in a 360 ml squeeze bottle with a standard cylindrical shape. It is comfortable to hold, reasonably compact, and simple to use.
There is no pump or complicated dispensing mechanism. You turn the bottle over, squeeze it, and the lubricant comes out.
You may need a moment to become familiar with the required pressure. Squeeze bottles can behave slightly differently: some release their contents immediately, while others require a firmer squeeze. The TYO bottle needs a little more pressure before a fairly generous drop comes out.
After using it once or twice, however, you quickly develop a feeling for it.
The resulting amount is actually close to perfect. One squeeze usually dispenses enough lubricant for a standard application without immediately flooding the toy. It can easily be applied directly to your body or squeezed into the entrance of an onahole.
OnaEki 370 uses essentially the same dispensing method. Both bottles are easy to operate and provide a practical amount of lubricant with each squeeze.

💧 Texture
TYO is a water-based lubricant that can be used with TPE and silicone toys.
Its defining characteristic is its thicker consistency. It still has enough fluidity to spread
easily, but compared with OnaEki 370, it feels noticeably denser.
OnaEki is more runny and begins spreading more quickly, while TYO tends to remain where you apply it. Despite its thickness, the lubricant feels very smooth. It is easy to distribute, does not feel unpleasantly sticky during use, and coats both the body and the toy effectively.
One of its greatest strengths is its longevity.
For a standard session lasting approximately 15 to 45 minutes, one generous drop is usually enough for me. I rarely need to apply more lubricant during the session.
Naturally, this depends on several factors:
The design and intensity of the toy
The speed at which it is being used
The duration of the session
Personal preference regarding lubrication
A heavily textured onahole may occasionally benefit from a small additional amount, particularly during a longer or faster session. Overall, however, very little lubricant is required, and the TYO Lube does not dry out overly quickly.
OnaEki performs similarly in terms of longevity. One application is generally enough to carry me through an ordinary session with either lubricant.
The difference between them is mainly found in how their respective consistencies interact with a toy’s internal texture.
From my experience, a thicker lubricant can reduce friction more noticeably and slightly soften the impact of intense internal structures. A more fluid lubricant allows more of the tunnel’s texture to come through.
Neither approach is inherently better. It depends on what you want from the toy.
I now find myself using TYO with more intense and highly textured onaholes, as its thicker consistency balances the stimulation and makes demanding tunnels feel smoother. For softer or less aggressive tunnels, I often continue using OnaEki because its more fluid consistency allows the internal details to remain especially noticeable.
That distinction has made both lubricants useful in my collection rather than forcing one to replace the other.

⭐ Quality
The overall quality is excellent.
Even the bottle design creates a strong first impression. It looks clean and carefully produced rather than like a generic lubricant transferred into the cheapest available container. More importantly, the lubricant itself lives up to that presentation.
During my use, I experienced no irritation, itching, or discomfort. It remained comfortable on the skin and worked safely with the toys on which I tested it.
A good lubricant can enhance the experience far more than you might initially expect. It does not merely make insertion possible. Its consistency and longevity influence how smoothly a toy moves, how clearly its textures can be felt, and how comfortable the entire session remains.
That is why I believe it is worth choosing a proper high-quality lubricant rather than automatically purchasing the largest and cheapest bottle available.
Some inexpensive lubricants provide up to one litre for a relatively low price. However, you may need to use considerably more, reapply it more frequently, and accept a less refined overall feeling.
Both TYO and OnaEki deliver the same excellent level of quality. I would feel comfortable recommending either of them based on performance.

⚙️ Amount Needed & Efficiency
I already mentioned its efficiency in the texture section, but it deserves to be highlighted separately.
One firm squeeze releases a generously sized drop. In most cases, that single drop is
enough to prepare the toy and maintain lubrication throughout the session.
Everything remains sufficiently moist, and the lubricant does not rapidly disappear or dry into an unpleasant residue. Reapplication is rarely necessary during my usual sessions.
That makes the TYO Lube much more economical than its bottle size might initially suggest.
I need considerably less of it than I did with the cheaper lubricant I used in the past. A one-litre bottle may appear to offer better value on paper, but that advantage becomes less meaningful when each session requires several times as much product.
TYO and OnaEki are roughly equal in this category. Both provide excellent coverage with a relatively small amount, and both rarely require reapplication.

👃 Smell
The TYO Lube is effectively odourless.
There is no noticeable artificial fragrance, chemical smell, or other scent competing with the experience. Everything remains pleasantly neutral.
OnaEki 370 performs identically here. Neither lubricant has a distracting smell.

🧼 Cleanup
Cleanup is quick and uncomplicated.
The TYO Lube does not leave behind a stubborn, sticky coating on either the body or the toy. Most of the remaining lubricant can be removed with an initial rinse using lukewarm water.
A gentle rub or normal toy-cleaning process takes care of the small amount that may remain afterwards.
Using lukewarm rather than cold water makes the process even easier, particularly when cleaning lubricant from a textured tunnel.
Once again, there is no meaningful difference between TYO and OnaEki in this category. Both are easy to rinse away and require very little additional effort.

💰 Value for Money
At €23.95 / $22.95 for 360 ml / 12 oz., the TYO Lube offers very good value.
It is not the cheapest lubricant when judged purely by bottle volume. However, volume alone does not tell you how economical a product will be in practice.
Because only a small amount is required and reapplication is rarely necessary, each bottle should last through a large number of sessions. Its consistency also noticeably improves the experience, particularly when paired with a more intense onahole.
You are therefore paying not only for an efficient lubricant, but for a product that meaningfully improves comfort, movement, and stimulation.
OnaEki 370 remains slightly cheaper while including ten additional millilitres.
Nevertheless, both products offer excellent value because of how little is needed per session.

The choice primarily comes down to consistency.
Choose OnaEki 370 when you prefer a more fluid lubricant and want to feel as much of the toy’s internal structure as possible.
Choose TYO Lube when you prefer a thicker consistency or want to soften the impact of an especially intense tunnel.
Alternatively, use both and select the lubricant according to the toy—which is exactly what I now do.

📌 TL;DR
The TYO Lube is a thick, smooth, and highly efficient water-based lubricant suitable for TPE and silicone toys.
One generous drop is usually enough for a complete session, and reapplication is rarely necessary. It remains in place well, does not dry out quickly, has no noticeable smell, and rinses away easily with lukewarm water.
Compared with OnaEki 370, TYO has a noticeably thicker consistency. This slightly reduces friction and balances highly textured or intense onaholes particularly well. OnaEki is more fluid and allows more of the tunnel’s texture to come through.
Both are excellent lubricants. TYO is my preferred option for more intense toys, while OnaEki remains a great match for smoother tunnels.

A well-deserved full score.
The TYO Lube is an excellent, high-quality lubricant. It is smooth, efficient, long-lasting, easy to clean, and noticeably enhances the overall experience.
Its thicker consistency is the most important distinction. It reduces friction effectively and can make highly textured onaholes feel more balanced and comfortable without removing their character entirely.
Be sure to consider which type of lubricant you personally prefer.
For something thinner and more fluid, OnaEki 370 remains the better choice. For a thicker lubricant that stays in place and softens intense stimulation, TYO Lube is an excellent option.
Of course, you can also keep both available.
That is the approach I have settled on. I alternate between them depending on the toy, generally using OnaEki for smoother tunnels and TYO for more aggressively textured onaholes.

As you can see, lubricant is more important than it may initially appear. If you are still using a cheap drugstore or generic lubricant, it may be worth considering a higher-quality alternative.
The difference can be considerably greater than expected.
Before discovering OnaEki, I used an inexpensive one-litre bottle that cost around €20. At the time, I considered it good enough. After all, I thought lubricant only needed to keep the toy and my body sufficiently moist.
After using both OnaEki and TYO, however, I no longer see myself returning to those generic lubricants.
The improved consistency, efficiency, longevity, and overall feeling make a noticeable difference during every session. Even though the bottles are smaller and initially appear more expensive, they require far less product and provide a much better experience.
