đź‘‹ Intro
Hello everybody, and welcome to another review.
This one is going to be a little different.
Usually, my reviews are connected to one of my affiliate partners. That means there is often a product provided for review, affiliate links, maybe a discount code, and all the usual transparency that comes with that.
This time, however, there is none of that.
No affiliate links.
No discount code.
No company collaboration.
This is simply a very personal review about something I bought myself.
I bought a doll.
And because this is a completely new experience for me, I wanted to take the time to properly document the full journey. Not just the final product, not just the looks, not just the basic “is it good or bad?” conclusion — but the whole process around it.
There are already quite a few doll reviews out there, and many of them are useful in their own way. However, a lot of them focus mainly on the usage side of owning a doll, or on the visual appearance. That is totally understandable, and for many people, that is exactly what they want to know.
But for this review, I wanted to do something different.
Because if you already know my reviews, you know I like going deep.
Review-wise, of course. Not what you think.
So instead of making this only a standard product review, I want to take you through the full journey: why I even bought a doll, which vendor I chose, why I chose them, how the buying experience went, what the waiting process was like, how the unboxing felt, what my first impressions were, and how everything developed from there.
This review will be divided into three separate parts.
The reason is simple: readability.
If I put everything into one giant review, it would probably become massive, overwhelming, and I can already hear the comments:
“Too long.”
And honestly? Fair.
So instead of one giant wall of text, I decided to split this review into three parts. This makes it easier to read, easier to follow, and also gives me more room to properly test, reflect, and share the experience step by step.
It also helps me as a reviewer. A doll is not something you can fully judge after one day. There are practical things that only become clear over time: handling, maintenance, storage, clothing, posing, cleaning, and the overall reality of actually living with a doll in your space.
So, consider this my invitation to you.
This is not just a review.
It is a journey.
A personal one, a practical one, and hopefully also a useful one for anyone who is curious about dolls, thinking about buying one, or simply interested in what the full ownership experience is actually like.
If you are interested, feel free to join me through all three parts. Read along, ask questions, give feedback, and let me know what you would like to see covered in the next parts.
With that said, let’s begin with the first part:
The buying journey.
đź“– About This Review
This review series will be divided into three parts, each focusing on a different stage of the experience.
🛒 Part I – The Buying Journey
The first part focuses on everything that happened before Yuna truly became part of my everyday life.
This includes why I bought a doll in the first place, how I approached the decision, which vendor I chose, how the buying process went, what the waiting phase was like, and how the unboxing and first impressions felt.
I will also go over Yuna’s specifications and configuration, so you can see exactly what I ordered and why I made certain choices.
In short, Part I is about the road from curiosity to purchase, from order to delivery, and from “I bought a doll” to “Okay, she is actually here now.”
🔍 Part II – A Closer Look at Yuna
The second part will be closer to a traditional review.
Here, the focus will shift directly to Yuna herself as a doll. I will take a closer look at her appearance, overall quality, material feel, build, handling, posing, and practical use.
This is where I will talk more about what she is like as an actual product: how she looks, how she feels to handle, how realistic or practical certain features are, and what works well or maybe not so well.
So while Part I is about the buying experience, Part II will be about Yuna herself.
🏠Part III – Living With a Doll & Final Verdict
The third and final part will focus on the long-term ownership side.
This is where I will talk about the practical reality of having a doll: clothing, cleaning, maintenance, storage, weight, handling over time, and how much effort is actually involved.
I also want to compare the experience with regular toys, because I think that is one of the most important questions for many curious readers. A doll is not just a bigger version of something smaller. It is a completely different kind of product, with completely different strengths, challenges, and expectations.
This final part will also include tips and advice based on my own experience, as well as my final conclusion.
By the end of the series, I hope you will have a clear and honest picture of what this kind of ownership journey can look like — the exciting parts, the beautiful parts, the complicated parts, and the practical reality behind it all.
🌸 Let’s Begin
So, with the structure out of the way, let’s start at the beginning.
Before there was an unboxing, before there were first impressions, before there was even a finished doll photo from the factory, there was one simple question:
Why did I buy a doll in the first place?
🔍 Disclaimer & Transparency
Before we properly begin, let’s get the important transparency part out of the way.
This is not an affiliate review.
I am not affiliated with the vendor, the manufacturer, or any company connected to this doll. Yuna was bought and paid for by myself, with my own money. No company provided this doll to me for free, no one sponsored this review, and no one had any influence over what I write here.
There are also no affiliate links directly connected to this review series. However, if I mention or link to other products later on, for example cleaning products, accessories, or other items I have reviewed separately, those linked reviews may contain affiliate links. If that happens, it will be clearly stated in the linked review itself.
All experiences described in this review are my own. They are based on my personal expectations, my own use case, my own preferences, and my own time with Yuna.
That also means your experience may be different.
Dolls are highly personal products. Different people have different expectations, preferences, anatomy, strength, space, privacy situations, and priorities. What works well for me may not be perfect for someone else, and something I find challenging may be completely fine for another owner.
This review is therefore not meant to be a universal truth or a perfect buying guide for everyone. It is my honest ownership journey, written as clearly and practically as possible, so you can get a better idea of what buying and owning a doll can actually feel like.
I will keep this review fully SFWÂ in wording and presentation. There will be no explicit descriptions and no explicit images. My focus is on the buying experience, ownership, handling, maintenance, practical reality, and overall impressions.
ChatGPT helped me structure this review and turn my own notes, thoughts, and key points into a full written review. However, all experiences, opinions, conclusions, and personal impressions are my own. The AI helped with wording and organization, but the actual review is based on my real experience, my own testing, and my own words.
As always, I will do my best to stay honest, fair, constructive, and transparent.
🛒 Part I – The Buying Journey
Before we take a closer look at Yuna herself, I want to start with the part that happened before she arrived.
Part I is all about the buying journey: why I decided to buy a doll in the first place, how I approached the decision, which vendor I chose, what the ordering process was like, how the waiting phase felt, and what my first impressions were once she finally arrived.
I will also go over Yuna’s specifications and configuration later in this part, so you can see exactly what I ordered and why I made those choices.
This first part is not just about clicking “buy” and waiting for a package. For me, this was a decision that took time, research, curiosity, hesitation, and quite a bit of overthinking.
So let’s start with the most obvious question.
Why did I buy a doll?
đź’ Why I Bought a Doll
I am writing this section on May 8, before Yuna has arrived.
I ordered her on April 20, so at the time of writing this, I am still very much in the waiting phase. And I actually think that is the perfect moment to write this part of the review.
Why?
Because I want to capture my honest thoughts, expectations, hopes, and concerns before I actually have the doll here. Once she arrives, my view will naturally change. Some expectations may turn out to be correct, others may be completely wrong, and some things will probably surprise me in ways I cannot predict yet.
That is exactly why I think this part is important.
It gives us a direct comparison between expectation and reality.
So before we get to the unboxing, the first impressions, and the actual ownership experience, let me explain why I decided to buy a doll in the first place.
A doll was something I had dreamed about having for a long time.
I always admired the craftsmanship, the realistic look, and the amount of detail that goes into these products. Even years ago, I found the idea fascinating. But back then, I also knew that a doll would probably be too much for me.
The handling, the weight, the care, the maintenance, the storage, the privacy aspect — all of that felt like a lot. Looking back now, I think I made the right decision by not buying one during that time.
I was interested, yes.
But I was not ready.
Now, however, I feel differently.
Over time, I became much more experienced with similar products, such as onaholes, hip products, and torso products. I learned how to handle them, how to clean them, how to maintain them properly, and how to judge their quality in a more practical and realistic way.
Of course, a doll is still a very different level.
But I do think that this previous experience will help me a lot with Yuna. I am not going into this completely blind. I already have a better understanding of material care, realistic expectations, cleaning routines, storage concerns, and the simple fact that these products require effort if you want to keep them in good condition.
If you already follow my reviews, you may now think:
“Why does he even need a doll? He already has a bunch of toys.”
And yes, that is a fair thought.
But a doll is different.
At least, that is what I expect.
From a doll, I expect a much more realistic and immersive experience. Something that a hip or torso, no matter how good it is, simply cannot fully provide. Those products can be excellent in their own category, but they are still limited by their format.
With a doll, I expect more of a complete presence.
A full body.
A realistic look.
More posing options.
A stronger visual impression.
A different kind of interaction.
So one of the main reasons why I bought a doll is simple:
I wanted more.
Not just “more” in size, but more in terms of immersion, realism, and the overall experience. I wanted to know what the full experience is actually like, not just from reading about it, but from owning and testing a doll myself.
I was also very curious about the ownership side in general.
What is it actually like to own a doll?
How difficult is the handling?
How much work is the cleaning and maintenance?
How realistic does it feel in practice?
Does the full body presence really change the experience that much?
Or is it something that looks amazing in photos, but becomes annoying in daily use?
These were all questions I kept asking myself.
Another thing that contributed to my decision was my review of the HEXXME Luna hip.
That product gave me a very strong first impression of silicone. I really liked the material, the softness, and the overall feel. It was honestly one of those moments where I thought:
“Oh. So this is how silicone actually feels.”
That experience made me even more curious about what a full silicone doll could offer. Not just as a product, but as an experience.
Still, the decision took time.
This was not something I bought impulsively.
A doll had been stuck in my head for years, but at the beginning of this year, the thought became much more concrete again. I started looking for more information, joined the sex dolls subreddit, looked at pictures, read owner stories, checked the FAQ, and tried to understand the practical side better.
After that, I started browsing different vendor sites and bookmarked some dolls I liked.
But even while I was actively looking, I still had doubts.
Part of me thought:
“Too expensive.”
“Too much care.”
“Handling will be difficult.”
“Do I really want to deal with all of this?”
But another part of me thought:
“I want a doll.”
“I am curious.”
“I want to experience this for myself.”
In the end, my curious side won.
But as you can see, this decision took time — and I think that is important.
A doll should not be an impulsive purchase.
The actual decision-making process took around four months, and that does not even include the years before that where I was already thinking about buying one someday.
Then, one day, I was browsing again and found Yuna.
In the days before that, I had been checking the subreddit to get a better idea of which brand I should consider. There was a post from someone asking which brand would be good for an Asian-looking doll, and several people mentioned Irontech.
So I went back to the vendor I had picked for myself, searched for Irontech, and looked through their oriental series.
And then I found Yuna.
My first reaction was pretty much:
“Yeah… I think she could be it.”
I bookmarked the page, kept thinking about it for a few hours, came back later, and bought her.
And the next day?
I was excited.
No regret. No panic. No “what have I done?” moment.
I was simply happy that I had made the decision.
Besides the obvious reasons, there is another side of doll ownership I am curious about: the companionship aspect.
I read quite a few posts from people who bought a doll not only for physical reasons, but also for companionship. And I am honestly curious to see whether that will be the case for me as well.
For example, having her beside me while watching something, resting against her, having her next to me in bed, or simply having that kind of presence in the room. Maybe that will feel nice. Maybe it will feel strange. Maybe it will become something I enjoy more than expected.
I do not know yet.
But I am curious to find out.
Of course, there is one very practical thing I have to keep in mind:
Yuna is not exactly lightweight.
Around 30 kg is still 30 kg.
Moving her from one spot to another will not be effortless. Bed to couch, couch to office, office back to bed — that sounds nice in theory, but I have to see how often I am actually willing to do that.
And getting her upstairs into my office and bedroom?
That will be fun.
I guess I will find out whether the gym paid off.
Handling is one of the biggest things I am curious about in general.
How easy will it be to position her?
Will I reposition her during use?
Or will that become too annoying, so I just choose one position beforehand and keep her there?
The cool thing about a doll is that, in theory, you can do much more with positioning than with a regular torso. A full body naturally allows for a lot more variety. But theory and practice are not always the same thing.
Some positions may look great in photos but be difficult in reality. Some may require more effort than they are worth. And some might work much better than expected.
That is something I will only be able to judge properly once Yuna is here.
On the same day I am writing this, I also bought some accessories and clothing for her.
I prepared an “everyday outfit” and a separate “playtime outfit.”
The everyday outfit is very simple: an oversized shirt and loose shorts, all in white. Nothing fancy, nothing complicated. Just something comfortable and practical so she has something on.
I do not want to leave her completely uncovered all the time. That would feel a bit strange to me. I cannot even fully explain why, but it would feel weird. Clothing also adds a little protection and may help against dust and lint to some extent.
The playtime outfit is a bit more styled, with underwear and overknee socks, also all in white.
And I may have bought cat ears and a tail.
Maybe.
Okay, I did.
But that outfit is not meant for permanent wear. It will be used only for specific moments and then removed again afterwards. I will go into more detail about clothing, styling, staining risks, and accessories in the Clothing, Styling & Accessories section later in the review series.
Cleaning and maintenance are definitely things I am more worried about.
For cleaning, I already prepared a strategy, and I hope it will work out. The same goes for general maintenance. I have some experience with cleaning and caring for other products, but again, a doll is a different level. Bigger size, more surface area, more weight, more effort.
I expect it to be manageable.
But I do not expect it to be effortless.
So, what do I actually expect from a doll in terms of use?
Good question.
When I think about it honestly, I do not expect the internal feel itself to magically be better just because it is a doll. At the end of the day, material, texture, and internal design still matter. A doll does not automatically become superior in that area simply because it has a full body.
But I also think that the internal feeling is only one part of the experience.
The bigger difference will probably come from everything around it.
The presence.
The body.
The look.
The realism.
The atmosphere.
The immersion.
Visual stimulation plays a huge role for me. I already noticed that with other products. The more I like the look and presentation of something, the more enjoyable the overall experience becomes.
So even if the actual internal feeling is not dramatically different from a high-quality torso or onahole, the full-body presence may still change the experience completely.
That is one of the biggest things I want to find out.
Will Yuna feel like a completely different category?Or will she feel more like an advanced version of products I already know?
Right now, before she has arrived, my expectation is that the realistic look and full body presence will make the experience much more immersive. I also expect her to be more work, more effort, and more demanding to handle than anything I have reviewed before.
And honestly, that is okay.
I did not buy a doll because I expected it to be the easiest product to own.
I bought a doll because I was curious about the full experience.
The look.
The handling.
The ownership.
The comparison to other products.
The companionship aspect.
The practical reality.
The question of whether a doll truly feels different, not just physically, but as a complete experience.
As you can see, the decision took me a while, and I am glad it did.
I feel good about my choice. I am happy that I took the time to think it through, research, compare, hesitate, come back to it, and only then make the decision.
Now, I am simply waiting for Yuna to arrive.
Hopefully this month.
I prepared as much as I can. I bought the essentials, planned the clothing, thought about cleaning and storage, and tried to set realistic expectations.
And now?
Now I am just impatiently waiting.
🏬 Vendor & Buying Experience
For my order, my vendor choice fell on My Robot Doll.
Before I made that decision, I did a fair amount of research. A doll is not exactly a small purchase, and because there are many vendors out there, I did not want to just pick the first shop I found and hope for the best.
I looked up different vendors, checked community recommendations, read experiences from other owners, and tried to get a better feeling for which sellers are considered trustworthy.
One site that really helped me during that research was:
If you are considering buying a doll yourself, I would definitely recommend checking that site as well. It gives you a good starting point and can help you avoid some of the less reliable sellers out there.
Another very helpful place was the sex dolls subreddit at r/SexDolls.
From my experience, it is a surprisingly friendly and helpful community. If you have questions, people are usually willing to help, explain things, share their experiences, and point you in the right direction. Especially when you are new to the topic, this can be incredibly useful.
And that is something I would strongly recommend in general:
Do your research before buying.
Do not just order from any random vendor because the price looks good or because the product images look nice. There are many sellers out there, and not all of them are equally reliable. Some vendors may offer poor quality, misleading product photos, bad customer service, or products that simply do not last.
And when you are buying something this expensive, heavy, and complicated, you really do not want a doll that causes problems after one week.
A little research before buying can save you a lot of headache later.
For me, My Robot Doll made a very good impression.
Their website is well structured and easy to use. You can search by brand, body type, skin color, height, doll type, and many other details. Basically, there is a filter for almost everything, which makes browsing much easier.
That helped me a lot, because I already had a rough idea of what I was looking for.
I eventually decided to go for an Irontech doll.
This was also something I looked up before. I did not want to choose a random brand without knowing anything about it. I wanted a well-known and trusted brand with a good reputation among owners.
While reading through the sex dolls subreddit, I saw Irontech mentioned quite often. And since Irontech also has a dedicated oriental series for Asian-looking dolls, my choice became much clearer.
That is how I eventually found Yuna.
Once I placed the order, I received the usual confirmation email shortly afterwards. This included the order details, the exact doll I ordered, and the customization options I selected.
A little later, I also received a direct email from their customer support.
A staff member introduced themselves, confirmed the order again, and told me what kind of production time I could expect. In my case, the estimated production time was around 45 days.
I really appreciated that.
It was not just an automated “thank you for your order” message. It felt more personal and reassuring. They explained the next steps, told me that they would contact me again once the factory pictures were ready, and made it clear that I could reach out to them at any time if I had questions.
That was a very good first impression from their support team.
Once the factory pictures were ready, they contacted me again and sent me a link where I could view the photos. They asked me to check if everything looked good and whether I wanted to confirm the doll for shipping.
They also explained the next step of the shipping process and told me that I would receive the tracking number once everything was ready.
After I confirmed the factory pictures, the shipping process started.
Some time later, I received an automated email with the tracking number.
At first, everything on the tracking page was in Chinese, and I did not immediately notice that there was a language changer in the top right corner.
To my defense, it was very small.
Once I found it, I was able to check the shipping status properly.
And from that point on, I checked the status every once in a while.
Definitely not every day.
Definitely not several times per day.
Absolutely not.
Maybe I did.
But just maybe.
Eventually, the day came when I received an email from DHL announcing the package.
And I have to be honest: at first, I thought it looked like spam or phishing.
The formatting looked like something from 2005. Times New Roman, big empty spaces between paragraphs, old-looking layout — the whole thing did not exactly scream “modern official delivery notification.”
So I checked everything carefully. I looked at the sender, checked the links, and made sure it was actually legitimate.
It was.
After that, I confirmed the delivery date.
And then, when I opened the DHL tracking page, I once again thought:
“Is this a scam?”
Because the tracking page looked even more like it had survived directly from the early 2000s. Images not properly aligned, more Times New Roman, buttons that looked like they were made in MS Paint 98 — it was quite the experience.
But eventually the status updated, the tracking moved, and I realized that DHL was apparently just stuck somewhere in the early internet era, at least website-wise.
The most important thing was that the tracking worked.
The status changed, the shipment moved, and eventually Yuna arrived.
One big topic many people probably wonder about is customs.
In my case, customs were fully handled by My Robot Doll. I did not have to do anything, fill out anything, contact anyone, or pay any additional customs fees myself.
That was a big relief.
From what I understand, larger and more established vendors often handle customs clearance for their customers. However, this is definitely something you should check before ordering. Do not simply assume it will be handled automatically.
If you are unsure, check the vendor’s help center or contact their support directly. Especially in the EU, it is important to know beforehand whether customs, taxes, or extra import fees are already included or whether you may have to deal with them yourself.
In my case, everything was smooth.
Overall, my impression of My Robot Doll was very positive.
They have a large collection, many dolls and brands to choose from, a well-structured website, lots of useful filters, and from my experience, a very friendly and helpful support team. The communication was clear, the process felt reliable, and everything happened as expected.
Based on my own experience, I can absolutely recommend them as a vendor.
I would buy another doll from them.
One thing that is also important to mention: vendors like this usually do not produce the dolls themselves.
I think most people already know that, but I still want to say it clearly. You order through the vendor, and they forward your order to the corresponding factory, usually in China.
The doll is then produced there, checked, photographed, confirmed, and shipped to you.
So the vendor is basically the connection between you and the manufacturer.
And that is exactly why a good vendor matters so much.
They are the ones handling communication, order details, factory pictures, shipping information, customs questions, and support if something goes wrong.
In my case, that part of the experience was very smooth, and that made the whole buying process much less stressful.
âś… Short Summary
My experience with My Robot Doll was very positive overall.
The website was easy to use, the product filters were helpful, the ordering process was clear, and the support team communicated well throughout the process. I received order confirmation, a personal support email, factory pictures for approval, shipping information, and tracking updates.
Customs were fully handled for me, and I did not have to pay anything extra after ordering.
Of course, this is only my personal experience, and every buyer should still do their own research. But based on my order, I felt well informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
For a first doll purchase, that was exactly what I needed.
📦 The Waiting Journey: Updates, Factory Photos & First Reactions
After the order was placed, the next part of the journey began:
Waiting.
And let me tell you, waiting for a doll is a very strange mix of excitement, impatience, curiosity, and occasionally checking the tracking page like it owes you money.
Since this review is meant to document the full buying journey, I wanted to include some of my personal updates from the waiting phase as well. These were written before Yuna arrived, so they capture my thoughts and reactions in the moment.
This part is not a technical review yet. It is more of a small pre-arrival diary: factory photos, shipping updates, first reactions, and the slow realization that this doll I ordered was actually becoming real.
🖼️ Update: 13.05.2026 — Day -41
I got surprised today by My Robot Doll sending me the factory pictures.
And...
Wow.
I am so happy with how she looks.
Seeing the factory photos made me even more excited and even more glad that I made the decision. Up until this point, Yuna was still mostly an order, a product page, and something I was waiting for. But seeing the actual factory pictures made everything feel much more real.
And honestly, she looks beautiful.
Her face is just lovely. The big brown eyes, the lips, the shape of the face — everything works so well together. The hair also looks really good and surprisingly natural.
The body looks great too. The wide hips, the bigger butt, the smaller waist, the overall proportions — exactly the kind of look I was hoping for. The chest also looks nice and fits the overall body shape well.
I am just very happy with how she turned out.
They sent me a total of 11 pics - I selected 5 to share here.
The vendor said that the whole shipping process can take up to 60 days. I also had the option to upgrade to premium shipping, which would take around 30 days, but that would have cost 260 € extra.
And as much as I want her here as quickly as possible, 260 € is quite steep. I could not really bring myself to spend almost 300 € just on faster shipping.
So I decided to stay with the normal shipping option and simply hope that it will be faster than the maximum estimate.
Of course, waiting is not easy.
But after seeing the factory pictures, I am also very relieved. Website photos often look better because they use professional lighting, cameras, posing, and makeup. So there was always that small question in my mind:
Will the actual doll look as good as the product pictures?
And based on the factory photos?
Yes.
She really does look like Yuna from the website.
That was a very reassuring moment.
🚢 Update: 04.06.2026 — Day -19
I got the tracking number today.
Yuna is currently still in China, waiting for the next transport step, but having the tracking number makes everything feel a lot closer.
Now I can actually follow the shipping process.
Which I will definitely not check every day.
Or every couple of hours.
Absolutely not.
Maybe I will.
But just maybe.
📬 Update: 18.06.2026 — Day -5
It is happening.
Yuna is on the way.
Today I received an email where I had to confirm the delivery date.
At first, I saw the email and thought:
“Nope. That looks like phishing.”
Why?
Because the whole thing looked like an email from 2005.
The formatting, the layout, the general presentation — it did not exactly inspire modern internet confidence. So before clicking anything, I carefully checked whether the sender looked legitimate and looked everything over several times.
It seemed fine, so I clicked the link.
Then the website opened, and to be fair, it looked a bit better.
More like 2010.
After confirming the delivery date, I received another email saying the confirmation was successful. That email included a new tracking link, so I opened that one as well.
And then the website looked again like Windows XP Internet Explorer 6 from 2005.
Panic.
But after checking a bit more, it seemed to be normal.
Apparently, DHL has a very strong “never change a running system” mindset.
Why update, if it works?
And honestly, fair enough. As long as everything arrives, I do not really care how the website looks. It can run on digital stone tablets for all I care, as long as Yuna gets here safely.
So, 23.06.2026Â it is.
I will be there, ready to receive the 50 kg package and carry it upstairs to my office and bedroom.
Yay.
But it will be worth it.
What is a broken back compared to getting a beautiful Japanese lady just for myself, right?
⏳ Update: 22.06.2026 — Day -1
Yuna is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
However, according to the tracking, she still seems to be a bit away from my place. Not extremely far, but still in a different town.
So now I am in that classic delivery phase where the package is technically close, but also not close enough for me to fully trust it.
I am not completely sure whether she will actually arrive tomorrow.
The delivery date says yes.
My impatience says she should already be here.
The tracking says: calm down.
So now I wait.
Again.
But this time, it finally feels like the last stretch.
📦 Packaging & Unboxing
23.06.2026
She came.
She is here.
Hello, Yuna.
I just finished unpacking everything, placed her as nicely and safely as I could, did the first round of tidying up, and now I am sitting here writing down my first impressions.
“What do you mean, you are writing? You do not want to try her right away?”
No.
I can wait.
I want to wait for the right moment, and today is not that day. Today is about arrival, unboxing, checking everything, making sure she is safe, and writing down my honest first impressions while they are still fresh.
And honestly?
There is already a lot to talk about.
The arrival itself was very smooth. The package was extremely well secured, and the box itself was placed on a pallet, which made moving and holding it easier.
Well, to some extent.
I do not know the exact weight of the full package, but according to DHL it was around 50 kg / 110 lbs.
It felt like 100 kg when carrying it upstairs.
Yuna herself weighs around 35 kg / 77 lbs, but there was a lot of packaging material inside the box, so the 50 kg total package weight sounds realistic.
And I am going to be honest here:
I could not have carried that box upstairs by myself.
Call me weak if you want, but carrying a 50 kg box upstairs alone is not happening. At least not for me. So I had help.
Of course, I did not say what was inside the box.
It was furniture.
Which, to some extent, is technically true.
The important part is: everything arrived safely packed, and the outside of the box did not reveal what was inside. There was nothing on it screaming:
“HEY, LOOK. THIS GUY ORDERED A DOLL.”
Thankfully.
Discreet packaging is important, and in this case, it was handled very well.
After removing the first outer layer, I opened the main box.
Was I nervous?
Yes.
Very.
I felt like a kid opening presents on Christmas. Or like I was unboxing my Nintendo 64 again and almost crying from pure excitement.
At the same time, I was also praying to the doll gods that Yuna arrived safely and did not get damaged during the long trip from China to Europe.
The first thing I saw after opening the box was even more protection.
There was foam and additional padding inside, and it was very clear that they took the packaging seriously. And honestly, I am very happy they did. A doll is heavy, soft, detailed, and expensive. You really want it to be protected properly during shipping.
After removing more of the protection, I got my first glimpse.
Her head was already visible and also very well secured. There were also several extras in the box, such as a manual and some accessories.
And of course, her hair.
I chose a wig instead of implanted hair because I want to be able to change her hairstyle in the future. That makes the whole look more flexible, and I think it was the right choice for me.
Her body itself was inside a large protective bag.
First, I removed even more packaging around her.
Did I mention that there was a lot of protection in the box?
I do not think I did.
There was a lot of protection in the box.
But again, that is a very good thing.
More foam under her.
Now came the next challenge: getting her out.
I prepared my big bean bag and placed a clean white sheet on top of it first. I did not want to put her directly onto anything that could make her dirty right away. After that, I carefully placed her onto the bean bag.
And then came the real moment of truth.
Unpacking Yuna herself.
Please be good.
Please nothing broken.
Please let everything be fine.
I started unpacking her from top to bottom.
And the first thing that really hit me was the skin.
Wow.
I honestly do not even know what to say.
Her skin looks and feels absolutely amazing. Smooth, soft, pleasant, and incredibly impressive at first touch. I expected silicone to feel good, especially after my previous experience with silicone products, but seeing and touching a full doll is still something else.
As I unpacked more, I saw her upper body.
And again:
Wow.
Did I already say wow?
The look, the shape, the touch — it all made a very strong first impression. Everything looked realistic, soft, and beautifully made. I was already very impressed at this point.
Then I continued unpacking further and checked the torso and belly area.
What a body.
The proportions, the shape, the waist, the belly, the overall sculpting — it looked fantastic. There was a very natural softness to the way the body looked, and the details made her feel much more realistic than I expected from photos alone.
Hands and feet were also separately wrapped and protected.
When I removed the protective covers from her hands and feet, I could once again see the quality. The hands especially are incredibly detailed. You can see all the small lines, shapes, and little details that make them look much more realistic.
The fingernails are also very nicely done.
All fingers are movable, and she has a full internal skeleton, which will become important later when it comes to posing and handling.
Then I checked some of the other important body details.
Her chest looks and feels very realistic. Many torso products have a chest area that is far too firm and not very convincing. With Yuna, the softness and movement immediately felt much more natural. Soft, squishy, and pleasant to the touch, without feeling overly firm.
The belly and belly button also look excellent. The body sculpt is honestly beautiful, and the overall detail level is impressive.
The intimate sculpting and butt also look very well made.
And yes, that is what I call a butt.
I chose the gel butt option because I wanted a more realistic feel in that area, and based on my first impression, I am very happy with that decision. Similar to the chest, it feels softer and more natural instead of being overly firm.
For a first impression, I am extremely happy.
But something was still missing.
Her head was not attached yet.
So it was time to make Yuna complete.
Attaching the head was surprisingly easy. There are different screw options included. One keeps the head more fixed in place, so it does not rotate freely. The other allows the head to rotate.
I went with the rotating option.
To attach the head properly, I lifted her upper body slightly so I could screw the head onto the body. And yes, the weight was noticeable immediately.
Heavy?
Yes.
Manageable?
Also yes, at least at first sight.
Of course, I only lifted the upper body a bit at that moment, not the full doll. But even that already gave me a good feeling for the weight and handling.
One thing I noticed right away was how the rest of the body reacted when I lifted her upper body. The belly pressed together slightly, almost like a real body would. That small detail looked surprisingly realistic.
It is one of those things that you do not fully think about before owning a doll, but when you see it in person, it adds a lot to the realism.
Fantastic.
After the head was attached, it was time to put on her wig.
I managed to do it pretty well on the first try. I only had to adjust it a little bit afterwards. The wig has a hair net inside, which helps attach and secure it to the head, and I was even able to strap it properly.
And then she looked complete.
Hello again, Yuna.
Now your look is finished.
Of course, one very important question remained:
Who takes care of all the packaging trash?
Not me, obviously.
That is a problem for future Slibowitz.
For now, Yuna had priority.
The most important thing: everything was intact.
No visible defects.
No damage.
Nothing broken.
Nothing missing.
No unpleasant surprise.
Flawless.
Thank the doll gods for that.
And also thank you to Irontech for making sure the packaging was safe and secure. With a product like this, proper packaging matters a lot, and they clearly took it seriously.
After everything was set up, I took a closer look at her.
The quality is genuinely impressive.
The skin does not only look good, it also feels excellent. Smooth, soft, and very pleasant. The overall detail level across the whole body is amazing, especially the hands, feet, nails, body sculpt, and skin texture.
The realism is much stronger in person than in pictures.
Photos can show the shape and design, but they cannot fully show the physical presence, the softness, the weight, or how the material reacts when you touch or move the body.
That is something you only really understand once the doll is in front of you.
Then came the practical part:
bringing her to bed.
And now to the most important question:
Did the gym actually pay off?
Well...
Yes.
I carried her to the bed, and it went fine.
The weight is absolutely noticeable. She is heavy, and carrying her requires strength, care, and a bit of planning. I expect the same when it comes to positioning her later.
This is not going to be effortless.
But that is also part of owning a full-sized doll. A product like this has weight. A full body with this level of realism does not move like a small toy or a torso. There will definitely be a learning curve.
The first time positioning her will probably be difficult.
The tenth time may already be easier.
At least, that is what I hope.
So for now, I would rate the gym a clear 5/5Â and can highly recommend going to the gym if you plan to lift, carry, or position a doll regularly.

âś… Short Summary
Yuna arrived safely on 23.06.2026, and the unboxing experience was very positive overall.
The package was discreet, very well protected, and secured with a lot of padding and protective material. The full box was heavy at around 50 kg / 110 lbs, so help with carrying it upstairs was definitely needed.
Yuna herself weighs around 35 kg / 77 lbs, and her weight is immediately noticeable when lifting or moving her. She is manageable, but she clearly requires strength and care.
The doll arrived intact, without visible defects or damage. The first impression of the silicone, body sculpt, hands, feet, wig, and overall quality was excellent. The skin looks and feels impressive, the body details are very realistic, and attaching the head and wig was easier than expected.
Overall, the unboxing was exciting, slightly nerve-wracking, very physical, and extremely rewarding.
Yuna is finally here.
And now the real ownership journey begins.
⚙️ Specifications & Configuration
Before we move on, let’s take a look at Yuna’s full configuration.
Since dolls can be heavily customized, I think it is important to show exactly what I ordered. Small choices can make a big difference later, especially when it comes to handling, maintenance, realism, durability, and cleaning.
So here are Yuna’s full specifications.

🧩 Why I Chose This Configuration
I went for the 153 cm / 5'0" version.
At first, I thought about getting a taller doll, because of course a larger size can look very appealing. But during my research, I often read that going too big for your first doll is not always the best idea.
And after unboxing Yuna, I fully understand why.
A full-sized doll is already a lot to handle, even at 153 cm. The weight, the positioning, carrying her around, dressing her, storing her, cleaning her — all of that becomes more difficult the larger and heavier the doll is.
So for my first doll, I think going with a slightly smaller size was the right decision.
It was also clear to me that I wanted an Asian / Japanese-looking doll, so the Irontech Oriental Series was a natural choice for me. I wanted a look that fits my personal taste, and Yuna immediately stood out to me when I found her.
Another important part for me was the body shape.
I chose a body with a larger hip size because I wanted a curvier, more realistic look. Yuna has a hip size of around 96 cm / 37.8 inches, which is exactly the kind of body type I personally like.
Many dolls are closer to around 80 cm in hip size, which is a bit too small for my personal taste.
Because I like big butts and I cannot lie.
In combination with the small waist, wide hips, thicker legs, and overall proportions, Yuna has pretty much my dream body type. That was one of the main reasons why this specific model stood out to me so much.
I also went for the AquaBounce butt option.
The reason is simple: realism.
I wanted the butt to feel softer and more lifelike instead of being too firm. Based on my first impression, I am very happy with that decision. It adds to the realism and makes the body feel more natural.
However, this option also comes with a bit of extra responsibility.
I need to make sure she is placed on a soft surface and that I reposition her every now and then, so the butt does not get compressed or flattened over time.
Will it be worth the extra care?
We will see.
But for now, I am glad I chose it.
The same goes for the AquaBounce breasts. I wanted a softer and more realistic feeling there as well, and my first impression is very positive. They feel much more natural than many torso products I have tested before, where the chest area can sometimes be far too firm.
For the hair, I chose a wig instead of implanted hair.
The reason is very simple:
I want flexibility.
I like the idea of changing her hairstyle from time to time, especially because I also enjoy cosplay-inspired looks. Hair can change the whole appearance of a doll, and with a wig, I have much more freedom.
Implanted hair can look nice, but it also takes longer in production and is much less flexible. For me personally, a wig was clearly the better choice.
For the joints, I went with standard joints, which is also what I saw recommended most often.
There are options for slightly loose joints or fully loose joints, but I did not choose those. Since joints can naturally loosen a little over time, slightly loose joints did not feel necessary to me.
Fully loose joints are interesting in theory, because they may allow more natural movement, but they can also make posing much more difficult. From what I read, the doll can become harder to control and less stable in certain positions.
And honestly, I do not want Yuna to move like a wet sack.
So standard joints felt like the safest and most practical choice for a first doll.
I chose a fixed vagina because it looks much more realistic.
Yes, it is harder to clean than a removable option. That is the trade-off. But for me, realism won here.
To make cleaning a bit easier, I chose an opening width of 3 cm / 1.18 inches. I would personally not recommend going too small here, because cleaning can become more difficult the narrower it is.
The internal length is 15 cm / 5.9 inches, which I think is a good sweet spot.
Not too short, so the experience can still feel immersive. Not too long, so cleaning does not become unnecessarily difficult.
For the body softness, I went with standard body softness.
There is an ultra-soft option, and I admit, it is tempting. A softer body can sound very appealing, especially when realism is the goal. But softer material can also be more delicate and easier to damage.
Since this is my first doll, I wanted something a bit more sturdy and forgiving.
So standard softness made more sense for me.
The feet are hard feet without bolts, which basically means she can stand more safely without visible foot bolts. For me, standing feet are definitely something I wanted. Even if I do not plan to have her standing all the time, it is still useful for posing, dressing, photos, and general handling.
I did not choose any automation features.
No suction system, no AI voice, no body heat, no extra electronic features.
For other products and scripted devices, automation can be very interesting. I use devices like the Handy and other interactive toys, so I definitely see the appeal of technology in this area.
But for a doll, I personally do not need it.
Automation adds more cost, more weight, more complexity, and more potential failure points. I also did not read too many positive things about some of these features. They can fail, they can make the doll harder to maintain, and they may not add enough value to justify the extra price.
So my personal recommendation would be:
Stay as natural as possible.
At least for a first doll.
Focus on the body, material, skeleton, joints, softness, and overall configuration. Those are the parts that really matter for the core ownership experience.
âś… Short Summary
Yuna is a 153 cm / 5'0" Irontech Oriental Series doll made from CloudTouch Silicone, with the ROS Max head type, standard joints, upgraded EVO skeleton, wig, AquaBounce breasts, AquaBounce butt, standard body softness, and hard standing feet without bolts.
I chose this configuration because I wanted a realistic but still manageable first doll. The smaller size should make handling easier, the body shape fits my personal preference, and the softer butt and chest options should add more realism.
I also chose a wig for flexibility, standard joints for stability, and avoided automation features to keep the doll as natural, reliable, and easy to maintain as possible.
Overall, I wanted Yuna to be realistic, beautiful, practical enough for a first doll, and not overloaded with features that could make ownership more complicated than necessary.
🌸 Outro
Okay everybody, we have reached the end of Part IÂ of the Yuna review series.
This first part focused on the full buying journey: why I decided to buy a doll, how I chose the vendor, what the ordering and waiting process was like, how the unboxing went, and what my first impressions were after finally receiving her.
And honestly?
It was already quite a wild ride.
From the first decision, to the factory pictures, to the tracking updates, to the very questionable early-2000s delivery websites, all the way to finally seeing Yuna in person — this first part already had a lot going on.
But the journey is only just getting started.
In the next part of the review, things will move more into the usual review format you may already know from my other reviews. That means I will take a closer look at Yuna herself and focus on the more traditional review sections, such as looks, quality, texture, handling, and positions.
So while Part I was mainly about the buying experience and first impressions, Part II will be about Yuna as the actual doll.
For now, I want to thank you very much for reading.
I hope you found this first part interesting, useful, and also enjoyable to read. Since this is a very different kind of review for me, I wanted to take the time to properly document the whole experience instead of only focusing on the final product.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I will do my best to answer as honestly and clearly as possible.
Thank you so much for joining me on this first part of the journey.
I will see you in Part II – A Closer Look at Yuna.
